Dr. Hirthna is working as an Assistant professor in Department of Physics. Currently, she headed the Department of Science & Humanities. She has obtained her undergraduate and post graduate degree from Madurai Kamarajar University, M.Phil. Degree from Alagappa University and Ph.D degree from Anna University. She is having fourteen years of Teaching Experience in Engineering. She has published papers in National and International Journals with high impact factor and in addition she has presented papers in various National and International Conferences. Her area of specialization is Magnetic Nano materials and Ferro fluids. She is also a recognized supervisor of Anna University. She motivated the faculty members of the department to attend and conduct Faculty Development Programs, Guest Lectures, Refreshment courses etc.,
